SCNet was formed in 1998 to provide consultancy to large organisations with complex ERP solutions. At the time, the Internet was relatively new to these organisations and SCNet were often called upon for our expertise in designing large scale Application Server deployments and, in doing so, put these companies on the Internet for the first time.

Internet trading via eCommerce was very new and we identified a niche in the market to provide a highly scalable, robust and secure trading platform. At this time we designed our first Payment Gateway solution and have been a strong leader and innovator in the Payment Gateway industry ever since with the iPayby Payment Gateway and iPayby Merchant Server products. SCNet now provide eCommerce solutions all over Australia and run one of the largest Payment Gateways in the country.

SCNet also has a strong background in Oracle database and middle tier software and have been engaged in large scale projects for companies such as Bunnings.
